A Level
These stand as an entry qualification for admission to university, apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships.
Students are typically aged between sixteen and eighteen years old and will have completed GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in order to access A Levels.
Students will typically take on three or four subjects at A Level and the grades they achieve will be converted into UCAS points in order for them to gain entrance into universities.
In England, the prevailing exam boards are AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.
Specific guidance about A Level subject selection and university guidance can be taken from the staff at Private Tutors 'R' Us.
